Getting the best out of your existing Case / Practice Management System

In this video

In this video you will learn a little about how to approach a project when looking to better leverage your existing case and practice management systems.

  • Where should you start?

  • What should you avoid doing (which you will want to do)?

  • How should you work with your people around this?

The purpose of this video is to help a law firm think about where they should start when looking to better utilise their existing case / practice management system, instead of changing the system.

Most firms start by going to the supplier to look at what other functionality is available, and this can cause problems and focus in the wrong area.

Initially you need to start with your people, understanding their challenges, frustrations, bottlenecks and use this information to order where you should focus energy... Look to identify your main challenges and then work with the providers on how they can help address these challenges.

Focussing this way around will place you in control and enable you to focus on using the case management system to address your challenges, instead of looking at what other modules are available which you are not using.

How long is it?

All videos are intended to be one unit (5 minutes)
